Honestly I’m really glad I’ve stuck with this game for as long as I have. It looks like it’s going to pay off with the new Pokémon games coming out for the switch.

 

I’m genuinely excited about those. Looks like the answer to PvP and trading tbvh.

Also, just caught a 98% Articuno, and I’m done with gen 1 outside of regionals and MewTwo.

 

i only got a shiny Kabuto out of the adventure week Mons, but caught a shiny Aron and Swablu during the period. did at least 20 of the Aerodactyl quests and no shiny, but that's RNG for ya.

 

I'm battling the RNG monster trying to soft reset for shinies in US/UM

 

I haven't bought a Pokemon game since the Gameboy Color, but I will definitely be getting one of the new ones for the Switch. I'm pretty pumped.

Plus, enjoy Field Research tasks highlighting Water-type Pokémon until June 21 at 1:00 p.m. PDT.

Alongside increased appearance of Water-type Pokémon appearing all over the world, you’ll be able to earn 3× Stardust for catching Water-type Pokémon. Plus, 2 km Eggs will hatch exciting Pokémon such as Totodile, Mudkip, and Corphish—earn Double Candy and Stardust for every Egg hatched!

Raid Battles will also feature powerful Water-type Pokémon for the duration of the celebration, including the exciting return of the Legendary Pokémon Kyogre. And, if you challenge Kyogre during the event and come out victorious, there is a chance you’ll encounter its Shiny form!

So Trainers, dive on in to this water-focused event before it ends on June 21!

I'm down for this new PoGo event. I need some Lotad and Mudkip candies, so this should help. I'm also a little ways out from reaching 400 Wailmer candies, so hopefully this helps me as well... although I won't evolve it once I get 400 because I'm guessing that whatever special research replaces Mew will require us to evolve a Wailmer.

 

honestly i am most hyped about Totodile being in 2 km eggs, i've only caught like 4 total. in for shiny Kyogre as well, but shiny Shellder is less than exciting. will still tap every one cause i'm a loser.

Have a shiny wailmer already but not quite enough to evolve him so I'll welcome that. Also, I'm hoping to get some Mudkips. I've evolved three Sceptiles yet I only have 12 Mudkip candies...they're just non-existent.

 

i hatch Mudkips more than like anything else, it's maddening

 

I swear to god if I get another Trapinch from a 10k I’m gonna lose my shit. I’ve hatched like 10 in a row now

 

Really? It's crazy how different this game is for different people. Like, I have even hatched probably six Treecko lately and 0 Mudkip, so it's not even just spawns.

 

Please I want my shiny Magikarp in this event!

 

Third Shellder I saw was a shiny. How's that for luck?

Holy shit this event came at the perfect time. Hatched a Beldum and went from like 40 candy to 103 and finally got a Metagross!!!

 

My squad is getting pretty dope.
