Guess I’ll have to test it out tomorrow. I have three research ready to go for day 7 that all have 500+ stardust and it’s day 7 for my catch and I have a few raid passes to burn. I’m hoping to get a bunch of stardust tomorrow. I want to get my Ampharos all the way powered up. I know he’s not great but he’s one of my favorites. I don’t make the best decisions when it comes to what I power up.

 

Surprise, surprise. Articuno is the new 7 day research reward starting June 1. I never caught one the first time around, so I'm excited to fill up that Pokedex spot.

Also, beginning in June research rewards will be more focused on water Pokemon. GIVE ME THEM LOTADS!

 

of course they announce the new Community Day and three of my 10k hatches afterwards are Larvitar

 

I’m 10 candy from my first Slaking

I’m 25 candy from my first Salamence

I’m 30 candy from my first Metagross

I do have a Lilleep though.

 

I know everyone has fun during the Community Days (myself included), but part of me feels like the uneven balance kinda ruins it a little bit. I walked 235km to get Tyranitar because Larvitar were so hard to come by, but I'm not going to feel that sense of accomplishment once Niantic decides to hand them out to everyone on Community Day. haha.

Adventure week starts today.

 

hope its more than just geodudes this time. last time i collected somewhere near like 600 geodude candies.

 

Golem's are fairly useful in raids and I have 6 Gravelers ready to evolve. Personally, I'll take all the Geodudes I can get.

 

This is the only part that I dig

I'm going to walk my Porygon in preperation for Gen 4

 

The only thing I need from adventure week is Anorith. I won't turn down Geodudes though, because as Drew said Golum is super useful in raids.

I am super excited about the extra buddy candy, though. I still need 80 something candies to get a Ludicolo.

 

I'm going to walk the crap out of my Mew so I can power him up to full capacity.

 

I live in Florida which everyone says is ripe with Lotad, but I just never seem to see them.

 

The only Lotads I've ever encountered have been during rainy weather, and living in southern California we don't get that weather effect very often.

 

Yeah, that's about the only time I see them is when it's raining, but it's rare and it rains a lot here.

 

Oh boy, I'm doing a biking/drinking/music festival this weekend where you ride 30 miles. I'm going to just leave my phone on while I go and rack up those candies. Also, maybe I'll finally get a STUPID Aerodactyl. Feels like I'm the last person on Earth without one.

 

Unless you're riding real slow, your game probably won't register much distance while biking. I barely get any distance tracked when I'm just running.

 

My friend has perfected the correct biking speed. I have not.

 

There are a ton of stops along the way so I think it will be much better. I bike that trail every weekend and yeah, it racks up about a third of the distance I actually travel.

 

you guys should try being fat, i've never been "too fast" for anything

 

Damn, forgot how much of a dick Ho-Oh with Solar Beam is.

Aerodactyl shiny is not raid exclusive. user got it from completing research task of "Evolve Kabuto/Omanyte"

 

also the new Ultra Box has 12 Super Incubators. hot damn.

 

This game keeps sucking me back in.
