Caught two Dratini and a Dragonair yesterday outside my house

 

Yeah I just never get Metal Coat on my 7 days.

 

Praying for aTogepi hatch is all I can do at this point so there's not much incentive to play.

my top CP is embarrasing since I never battle in gyms and never power anything up

 

You guys have some stacked teams! I'm jealous. I have multiples of many good ones, but if I go look at my phone i'm pretty sure i've only cracked 2600CP 3 times.

Yeah I was just thinking I need to catch a damn Articuno but I'd probably have to drive 45 minutes to the city and yeahh not gonna do that.

 

very surprised they're doing the dogs this soon. With rotating dogs and mewtwo, i would say unlikely we see Gen3 before end of year.

 

I could see them doing it right after Mewtwo tbh which looks like it's coming some time after the dogs, probably this year. But I hope they wait until at least the new year for Gen 3. Spread it out, give the game longevity. Although from their perspective I can see how pumping out new Pokémon and more legendary raids is keeping people invested.

Raikou is my favorite of the 3 so I'm fine with this.

 

Coming across these guys in the wild in the old Gold and Silver games was such a rush.

 

I finally caught my first shiny Magikarp. Of course it has 10CP and 42% IV.

 

Both a win and a loss, haha. How many did you catch before the shiny out of curiosity?

 

ive had a shiny for a while but its also 10CP - i am struggling between evolving a 140cp 'karp i got in a raid or evolving the shiny just to have the red gyrados. i already have a nice gyrados but the 140cp karp will grow nicely.

Yeah I'm at 284 and live in a place where Magikarp pop up outside my house all day long so hopefully I can get a red Gyarados soon. I have almost enough candy to evolve three of them. That's gotta sting though to catch a 10CP shiny and I definitely wouldn't evolve it but I'm more focused on powerful Pokémon than catching them all. If it was like 80CP though or something then yeah I probably would haha.

 

I caught a 10CP shiny the first day of the water event. Was able to catch enough to get the 400 and fully power it up before evolving.
