Got Cloyster today. So that's 136. I have no idea when I'll get anything brand new. Maybe Clefable or Dragonite. I'm closest to Clefable.

 

I'm really surprised that I have yet to get to Golem. I used to see Geodudes all the time, but I'm stuck at needing 30 more candies. Also, now that they've made 2ks as impossible to get as 10ks, I'm out of luck hatching any.

 

Just walk that Graveler. He gets a candy every 1km. So that 30 is equivalent to 10 candies basically. Shouldn't take that long.

 

Found a wild Magmar last night! Only 250ish CP but still! Very rare for my area.

 

I thought about that, but I do have Geodudes pop up on my tracker all the time (but for some reason I never see them spawn). My logic is that if I'm going to spend time walking a Pokemon, I might as well walk something that I can't really catch... Only caught four Grimers and never seen a Machop, so those take walking priority.

After these three, I have nothing else I can do besides walking a Dratini for 60 more candy. Yuck.

I still have a lot to do unfortunately sitting at 115. But I only recently found out about Silph Road and I do not live in a big city so it's been a lot tougher than I assume it is for most of you. Plus I only walk about 2 miles a day at most.


Doubt I'll ever get the 10KMs I need: Hitmonlee, Chansey, Lapras, Aerodactyl since there's like no nests and I constantly get the same hatches over and over. Porygon could be added to that as well.

 

I just hit 130, but they've definitely made it harder recently. I got super lucky and saved myself 70 Squirtle candies by catching a Blastoise near my house. That same spawn point seemed to be popping out rare things every so often, but then they took away the old tracker. It killed my ability to be able to see if I needed to go walk for something.

Out of the 13 I still need, ten are from 10ks and one is from the 2ks....and of course, they've made it where 49/50 eggs are 5ks. I'm really holding out for some kind of Christmas event that will help me in some way.

 

I've really grown away from this game. 134 in the dex and close to a few others but really no interest until the weather gets better and/or they offer some promo like Halloween.

 

I'm officially not transferring any decent pokemon in hopes that Christmas brings back double candies.

 

Like I said in my post right above yours, I'm still trying but they've made it even more of a grind now so I'm about at that point, too.

The double-candy or shorter walking distances for buddy candy would get me back out in the cold weather but otherwise, I'm stuck.

 

Level 25, 123 caught, and only 1 pokemon over 2000cp sadly.

Edit: at least one of my Vileplumes has a solar beam of 120.

Surprisingly I only need Lapras out of the 10k group but I could use more Dratinis because I've only seen one once. Still need a few things that seem to be common for everyone else. Never see magikarp or clefairy for example.

 

Wow. I thought it took me a while to get to Gyarados. Never seeing a single Magikarp is just insane. If you're going to make the candy requirement 400, you might want to make it a LITTLE fair for everyone...

 

Sadly i've only hit like 170 in Magikarp candies. They're pretty difficult to come by in my area as well.

 

Oh my god guys! I just saw a Lapras silhouette on the bus. I flew off so fast and actually found it. Raspberry, Ultraball, Spin throw, Excellent, Boom. It was magic. Over 2000 CP but with the worst possible IVs. I'm
Not complaining though. I randomly got Arrodactyl and Lapras in the last 3 days.

 

Isn't it crazy how the game will do you that? You play for five months and then within three days they will spawn two super rare ones for you...

But yeah, about the Magikarps, I wasn't catching many either mainly because I would go run/bike and only one Magikarp would spawn near a lake at a time. Eventually, I got so tired of it, that I started driving to each place that I knew would spawn them at different points, so I would pick up about eight per day (anywhere from 1-3 in each area). I got to Gyarados pretty quickly after that because I also had him as my buddy.

 

I don't think that I've ever see a Magikarp in the wild... I've hatched like three or four but that's it.

I've seen like 2 in my hometown and couple in another city. Hatched like 2 during the Halloween event but nowhere even close to Gyrados

 

I've evolved two Gyarados. One had twister so I drop kicked it

 

Sweet, tracking just went live for me.
