I was able to spin some as a passenger today but also got a lot of try again laters on some too. Now I know why

 

This makes me happy. I think my last post in this thread was after I had two gyms in a row sniped from me. It was so infuriating.

Edit: Got too excited and missed that it's only rival Gyms. It's a bigger problem when I'm training, but a step in the right direction.

 

Is that why I got Try Agains when spinning and driving? I was going 10mph... Which is what I usually do to grab the stops around the parking lot at my park before I walk the lake. Weakkkk!!! I always thought the try again was because of server issues.

 

Edit: Wait I don't think that's why cause I stopped at a couple completely and still it said try again soooo..

 

I read the limit is around 20 or 25 mph. But yeah sometimes I get the try again thing even when I'm walking.

 

It lags a bit, though. I've noticed when I'm riding in a car that you have to be going under like 30 mph or so for the spawns to happen, but even if you pull up to a stoplight, it will take a while to register that you have slowed down or even stopped completely.

The game has gotten to where you almost have to be walking slowly to be able to play anything at all. I feel like it only works a portion of the time if I'm running or biking.

 

I find that I can hatch eggs going between 10-12mph in my car.

 

I'd hate to be behind you.

Are rare is Kangaskhan to hatch and how rare is a Porygon to hatch?

 

Kangaskhan only available in Australia/New Zealand, and Porygon is outrageously hard to hatch. Never hatched one myself, but did catch 2 in 2 days in the exact same spot about 3 weeks ago!!!

 

I've hatched 4 Porygons lol. I get dissappointed when I hatch 1 now except they may be good for trading.

 

I still don't have one of those pixelated bastards. I've never seen one on my map even, so I guess I'll just keep hatching 5ks.

I just looked, and I've actually only hatched 180 eggs which seems low compared to a lot of other people. So not surprised I haven't gotten a Porygon or Lapras.

 

For reference I've hatched 454 eggs and have gotten these rares
2 - Hitmonlee
4 - Onix
2 - Chanseys
4 - Porygons
1 - Lapras (Caught 1 wild)
1 - Snorlax (Caught 3 wild)

Never hatched any Aerodactyl (still need), Hitmonchan (still need), Dratini (need Dragonite), and Kabuto (need Kabutops).
Hatched about 8 Eevee's which sucked, thank god thats fixed and hatching a Scyther is the worst since my front yard was a nest for them when I first started.

 

Holy crap that's a lot of eggs. I've only hatched 39.

I just got my "100 eggs hatched" medal a couple days ago..

 

Holy moly. Yeah if I've been playing for 4 months and have <200 but need almost 500 to get a Lapras or Porygon....yeah, sorry, I'm out.

 

Porygon was my first 5K egg hatch. I've only hatched 66 eggs.

 

Maybe one will show up at my house since there's recently been a Venusaur and Snorlax there. Too bad I'm moving in a month!

 

I haven't tested the speed cap yet but pokestops are dropping mad items today. Maybe to make up for it?

I'm getting 7-10 items on every spin. Not just the 10th.

 

I'm seeing tons of items from stops and also a ton more Pokemon spawning at a time. Usually if I have the app open at work there will be one or two mons pop up but now whenever I check there's 5 or 6 popping up.

 

I need one more Abra and there's one somewhere near my house, but without a tracker I would have to go walking up and down the road in the dark... Thanks Niantic.
