ten love songs - I kind of needed that

also, I kinda get the Goodness comparisons - it's not really comparable sound wise but conceptually: a (some) very sad, sad record(s) followed by a hope filled one

Yea I tend to roll my eyes a bit at songs about parenthood since I’m not there yet myself but the way the lyrics play off the music in that song is brilliant. The guitar in the beginning has almost like a lullaby/playfully innocent quality to it and it’s genius.

 

Manila just hit me hard, every song on here just gets better every time I listen, including the singles which I really can't remember happening for many albums, usually by the time the full album comes out the singles have lost their magic for me and sometimes I even skip them but that isn't the case here. Extremely excited to see them in less than 24 hours, I rarely get to see a band play live when I am at the peak of enjoying their music so this is sure to be a special experience, teebs I hope you figure out a way to get a ticket for your show as well, you deserve it

 

I recommended this album to a buddy who’s not familiar with Pianos but after listening to it, he’s a converted fan.

It's Chad listing songs that inspired him when writing Wait for Love. It's wild that there tried a piano centered song for the album.

i echo everything being said here and feel really good to be back on the piano hype train.

 

Who do you think they'll tour with? I was selfishly hoping for Coheed again, but Circa would be sweet.

True but would be nice to happen again! Especially since that's when TWIABP fell off super hard for me and now I like them again

also that was the best tour, turnover and take one car too

 

I'm maybe the only person who still doesn't like Harmlessness :/
