I’m kind of holding off more in depth listens till Friday cause I want the lyrics / I havnt set my phone up with my computer again since my computer crashed and i don’t even have iTunes downloaded rn lol

 

Yeah Blue might be my least favourite closer so far. Hasn't hit me and I think some of the melodies are odd. Will need more time.

This album REALLY clicked with me on my walk last night, idk why. Just spoke to me heavily

blue is so fucking beautiful i'm bewildered to read a single negative thing about it!!!!!

nah i mean you feel how you feel but honestly i think it's a perfect song from them, and the one that most articulates the bittersweetness of the record. where keep you was such heavy heavy grief, this record and especially that song let so much light pour through! i mean imploring your father's ghost to go confront his newborn grandson is a fucking sad thing to think about but the song delivers it so tenderly it makes me smile--it's such a profound expression of love

 

This album makes me want to pull out my old guitar and go play at an open mic. Haven't done that in 5 years

I'm listening to the lack long after for the first time in a long time and its great. its funny theres some similarities in the vocal phrasing even though its all screamed/yelled ha

I would love a music video for every song on this following the story of those girls ha, IDK why but I love those videos and love how they fit with the music.. I don't really like music videos but I'm super excited for the final video which I hope comes this week.

Bloody Sweet could be on a new Balance and Composure album and I wouldn't have blinked, something about it gives me that vibe.

 

bitter red has become one of my favorite songs. i remember not being big on it when it was released. my ears must have been broke

 

I love like the driving sound of the guitars. Probably my early favorite on the album

 

It's damn good, I'm still hooked on Love on Repeat though, that song is great.

the vocal delivery on Bay of Dreams is one of my favorite parts of this album

 

yea its so different for them. I can't really explain it, just driving power chords but they work really well. great song I actually think every song on here is awesome
