Looks like Phoenix are teasing something which means hopefully new music!

Not sure if there's a band thread but it's so hard to search for that I figured an album thread would be better

There's a lot of speculation on social media about what the post could mean ranging from new album, tour or even them breaking up since that's technically a sign off (I doubt they would tease a breakup).

 

I used to really like this band in high school but I haven't really bothered to spin their albums in the past two years or so, I think I outgrew them but I guess I'll listen if they put out something new

 

I truly love this band and all of their albums, would love more music asap

 

One of my favorite live sets was them at ACL 2013. Would love another album for next summer.

Yay, things are happening!

 

Tempted with that Hollywood Bowl show, I just hate that venue so much. Unless you're in the first 10 rows the sound quality is terrible. I saw Sigur Ros and Bon Iver there and at both shows I could literally hear people chewing louder than the music.

 

I've seen Death Cab, Kanye and Bon Iver there and I personally thought the sound was fine but those three shows were the worst in terms of audience caring and paying attention

 

Yes, more dates please!

 

Just listened to Bankrupt! and it holds up so well.

 

Bankrupt is awesome

 

It's Never Been Like That is still my favorite. Such a great album.
