The freeways are perfectly fine.. just saying. It's been a really smooth drive so far

 

It took me over an hour to get back to my house today. Usually takes me 25/30 minutes. Lots of accidents. It was rough.

 

Yeah I'm sure the ride home is gonna be a whole different beast as well.

Hey friends I am in the parking lot of the venue. The first 2 hours or so of the drive were totally fine, but the last 45 or so were terrifying. But I made it!


The drive home... trying not to think about it

 

Phoebe just tapped me on the shoulder after noticing my hoodie and told me how excited she was for EXC. okay...

 

that is so awesome haha

 

be safe people! if the weather is terrible after the show sleep in your car or got a hotel or something if you drove far, driving at night in snowstorms is dangerous

It was totally worth the drive. She's better live than she is on record. Shortly killed it as well, even if it did come off as obvious Julien Baker worship, it was great.

 

I was looking out for @ImAMetaphor and started to give up hope until my eyes were drawn to the lights of a phone literally right next to me.

I saw him open up chorus and like my post. Couldn't have happened any better.

 

this is amazing

i sometimes hope when i go on chorus at shows someone will notice

 

i've met two people from chorus and each time i bungled my words and had to go away so i could hide my embarrassment at being so embarrassing. but everyone on here is nice and so they were nice about my being a dummy

I don't know if I've ever really hoped someone would notice it on my phone, but I've wondered if anyone has before

Also also, I have met probably 15ish ap/chorus folk and it's been mostly pretty cool every time

 

That was so funny, lmao. I was looking out for you as well, but I certainly didn’t think I’d find you so close by! It was great meeting you!

 

Really though, the show was definitely worth braving the worth. I had such a good time. She played every song her band knows how to play. 100% would do it again.

So it turns out Phoebe is playing a record store venue near me tomorrow and I found out about it by chance by being in there because she didn't advertise it at all. Provided I'm not snowed in (which is looking like a real possibility) I'm going to go see her tomorrow for a first date and I'm real fucking excited

 

Where at?! Rough Trade Bristol?
