i feel like the sinister sounding minute or whatever sets the tone for the album to me. Feels vital. Halloween is good, but definitely the only song that i sometimes find myself struggling to focus on.

 

The strings remind me of the show Dark and I absolutely love it

 

Yeah Halloween is easily the “least amazing” song on this for me if you don’t count DVD Menu as a song.

 

I'm very late, but knowing all the praise I've seen for all of them... I should give Julien, Lucy and the project with Conor a listen. I think I've heard the Boygenius EP but wasn't really paying attention so I will remedy that.

I think initially “Savior Complex” is my “least” favorite.

 

I was just playing Graceland Too for my mom and telling her the story of it and started crying so hard loool
also every time I get to the line “said she knows she lived through it to get to this moment” I fucking lose it. what an unbelievably special song.

 

Both of those are in my top 3 haha

 

Punisher, Chinese Satellites, and Savior Complex for me with Graceland Too a close fourth

 

Top 5 are Kyoto, Chinese Satellite, Savior Complex, Graceland Too, and I Know the End but i can’t rank those yet

Current favorite moment is the whisper in Chinese Satellite when she sings “it’s just a matter of time before I’m hearing things”, gives me chills every time
