It is a fantastic song, also recorded for the KEXP session, on which btw. she said in the introduction this song was never recorded (as far as I remember), so that seemed weird back then already, I was like hey but there's a studio version of it right there hahh

I think there was another version of this song on her soundcloud, which was packed with unreleased songs, covers and snippets back in the day

 

yeah I've got an acoustic one from soundcloud and then the longer version from that compilation

she had some killer stuff in those early demos, I still think the best version of Ask Me To/Steamroller was the soundcloud one
