Tbh I think social media is social currency whether it's selfies or retweeting something we agree with, I don't think it's always bad and there's value in it but it often gets overdone and exhausting and that's why I take social media breaks all the time because the effort of it and the sometimes fakeness of it is eye rolling. But it's also nice to keep up with people and feel like you're communicating sometimes so idk it's really a give and take.

I was just thinking about having a bar with interactive AR elements where everyone could mutually influence their sorroundings

like turn someones sandwich into a tide pod before they bite down on it

 

The only valid exception to this is when the restaurant/bar is a legitimate speakeasy. Not some half-assed speakeasy influenced place. I'm talking windows covered with books, the only lights are actual candles, etc.
