I'm not morally opposed to food pics and selfies I just don't get it, I just hate when I feel guilty eating because everyone is taking pictures

 

yeah, it's not a hill I'd die on or anything. for me it's just thinking about what things might be like in five years ya know. am I gonna be at a restaurant surrounded by people who are checking their likes while their food has been sitting there cold for fifteen minutes?

The trend that drives me the craziest on instagram are all the bowls.

Bowls filled with yogurt or oatmeal (or something my dog could cook) and then a bunch of sliced fruit & some nuts that someone must have spent about 5 hours arranging. Those posts can get more likes than a dish by a professional chef who worked his ass off to make something creative, beautiful, and interesting.

i was at a great local breakfast place saturday for brunch and i was alone so i was just up at the bar eating my (previously noted) chicken & waffles, and this girl next to me was having a photoshoot for like 10 mins with her omelette, and like, eggs are not known for staying hot long
