I don't get the hate for Pitchfork, people are elitist about literally everything including apparently elitism

I take issue with them supporting someone known as a child rapist.

I think a lot of their reviewers are bad, and I wouldn't bring that up now because I've felt that way for a long time, but seeing David Bowie praised at all... is too much.

 

Don't forget their hard work last year aiding Pinegrove in coming back

 

That's fair , how to cancel dead people and know when praise is misguided is complicated I think but I get it

I just hate when people are against the concept of criticism it's so bad

 

I definitely think it's bad that Pitchfork promotes all these shitty artists and then also post thinkpieces like "artists need to be held accountable" and then continue to promote those shitty artists

their reviewers pretty much review by genre, the guy who does all the emo ish stuff is a real dummy but thats ok for me bc I dont care about most of that stuff

the reviewers that review electronic and indie can be pretty good
