My step dad is such an asshole. I use street parking for my car and he told me he wanted me to park across the street so I don’t upset the neighbors since I park in front of their house and he doesn’t want me taking their spot. So like, the past two weeks absolutely no one has parked in that spot so I figure it’s okay to park there right? Nope, he threw a fit. Over some imaginary reaction the neighbors might possibly have. Am I being unreasonable here?

 

What about the neighbors across the street where you park now?

But anyway, I think if no one has parked there in weeks, it's fair game and he should put his tiny dick back in its holster.

He’s just mad because one time the neighbors put a note on my car asking me to move it, because they had a big truck full of stuff when they were moving in. He thinks that means I can never park there again despite the note specifically mentioning needing that spot for their move. They haven’t used that spot since.

 

Might be awkward, but maybe go ask them and actually see if they give it a shit? Might earn you points with the neighbors, too, for being polite about it.
