After hearing that and Josh's solo stuff it's no surprise that Paramore's best album is the one without either of them.

 

I think it has always been pretty obvious that Josh was the driving force in both him and Zac leaving.

After Laughter is definitely their best album. I’m glad Zac is back with them. Sucks that he isn’t close with his brother anymore but wow the comments that Josh has made are awful.

I think As Everything Unfolds are pretty good, but they don't sound like Paramore.

Singer doesn't compare to Hayley, but that's like saying the rookie is not as good as Michael Jordan. Ok band, nothing I hear worth taking a deeper dive for me.

After Laughter is an absolute masterpiece, but you can't say that it's the prime sound of Paramore as a band. Rip those guys all you want for what they're doing now but they were a part of what were some of the best albums of that decade.

 

Riot is honestly still my overall favorite Paramore album. But, if I throw Petals for Armor into the mix, that’s my real favorite (& still in the conversation for my AOTY), so I’m super excited for whatever’s coming next.

 

I’m pretty sure Paramore will be back in 2021.

 

Djent is a particular guitar tone/sound, that has often derided in the metal scene

 

To me they most sound like Paramore circa AWKIF/Riot albums, but taken in a more metal direction

Hope this guy does a country emo tour. I dislike country generally and this is so genuinely enjoyable. Would be so fun to sing along to. And "Missouri" Business, lmfao.
