Early favorites Big Man, Little Dignity, You First and Figure 8. Can't wait to spend more time with this.

My preorder won't be delivered until Thursday, though :/

 

Mine isn’t coming until Wednesday. I know this is the epitome of first world problems but why bother preordering something just for it to not arrive the day of release lol

 

Lol agreed. I always get caught up in the announcement of a new release and preorder anyway.

 

It’s hard for me to get bothered by a small minor delay for vinyl.

 

This is cool. Nowhere near my favorite Paramore record, but I’ll be revisiting it a bunch to see if it climbs.

 

Not really bothered by it since I have Apple Music and can listen right away. With each preorder I hope my first listen will be on vinyl but it is what it is.

Anyway, this album slaps, rips, etc. etc.

 

On first listen I like this a good amount. Up there with Flowers for Vases for me (which I know is her solo). Will definitely be listening a bunch more.

 

I think this is the first Paramore album that has pulled me in right away since Brand New Eyes. After Laughter and Paramore I liked enough on first listen but wasn't instantly hooked. Then after a few days it would be my new favorite Paramore album lol

 

Still on my first listen, but just wanted to say, I always appreciate a flute, and I love it in the outro to Big Man, Little Dignity

 

I hate to admit, getting better is boring
But the high cost of chaos, WHO CAN AFFORD IT??

 

Yeah. I noted that I realize how entitled I sound and closed with an “lol”. Not sure I would call it bothered more than disappointed since, as far as I had heard, there wasn’t a delay on the vinyl release like a lot of other artist are having to deal with, but like you said, it’s on streaming, so not a huge deal.

 

The singles were all terrible so I hope I enjoy the rest of this more.

 

I liked this a lot. Less immediate than AL, but it will grow on me I'm sure. Closer was special. Not too many other thoughts currently other than having a favorable opinion of it. C'est Comme Ca was definitely my least favorite though.

 

After one listen on my ride into work…this is their best record by a lot…bravo!

 

i've only heard "this is why" and "the news" so i'm excited to check out the rest of this album today. it's kind of scary seeing how polarizing it is here. i wonder which side of the coin i'll fall on...

 

Wasn't a fan of any of the singles unfortunately, rest of the album better?

 

idk from the reactions it seems like ppl who didn’t like it were listening to it on shitty speakers and came around on a headphones listen :)

 

I want to like the whole album so bad, but after a couple listens so far the only songs I really like are This Is Why, Running Out of Time, You First, and Figure 8.

maybe the rest just needs more time.

 

Enjoyed my first listen and figured it would be a grower.

Third listen and I’m in love with this thing lol.

actually, all the instrumentals on here. holy hell.

 

Still not crazy about The News or C’est Comme Ca but everything else here is pretty great. Already growing on me a lot from my first listen last night. You First and Figure 8 back to back rips so hard. Crave is incredible as well.

 

this album is good. i have confirmed it.

Pitchfork nailed why The News bothers me so much. Luckily the rest of this is pretty solid.
