Really like this album. A bit let down after the singles tho. Certain parts of this album just irk me. Like as much as I like one of the drunks the feeling of the chorus feels off and some of the tempo changes are jarring. Stuff like high hopes, king of the clouds, hey ma I made it and stuff have such a cool feelin to them tho. Only song I really don’t enjoy listening to too much is dancings not a crime

Ok, yeah, this is officially my summer album. No one will tell me differently.

One of the drunks is definitely the lowpoint of this album, but I think that's the only bad track on here. Everything else is pure gold. Love the jazz and boroque influence on this. Sounds like he took those sounds, modernized them and crafted some very unique sounds.

I've heard some of it but I need to give it a solid listen through, which will be tomorrow. I shall report back then!

Both Panic and Beyonce have released "victory lap" albums (at least that is what this sounds like to me) and Panic came out head and shoulders above her.

Anyone know who the girl saying "let me hear you say something?" in The Overpass is?

Loving this album. Dancing's Not A Crime is one of the songs of the year.

The trumpet? that mirrors the melody in the second verse of High Hopes might be my favorite part of the album. Or the beginning of Old Fashioned.

This isn’t as immediate as DOAB for me. It’s good though!

This is so good. I couldn't get into their last few albums, but this didn't take any effort at all.

EDIT: Just listened to it 4 times in a row. I love this!

That low pitch-shifted “high, highhhhh hopes” vocal on High Hopes is so damn catchy haha

    The rivalry is back on

I wasn’t into the last two albums at all, so I didn’t expect to like this much, but I’m really enjoying this

Idk why I had this thought, but with where Panic’s at right now they would make a great Vegas residency act someday soon.

This is so so great. It's definitely weird because it's the first time a Panic! album has sounded like it's directly following the sound of one of their previous albums, but honestly I think it helped Brendon really perfect it. The only songs I think lag behind the rest are The Overpass and One of the Drunks, but everything else is stellar. It also feels weirdly like an emo Justin Timberlake album at points, but I'm definitely here for it (especially on Dancings Not a Crime and King of the Clouds). I think i'll be returning to this a ton. My gut reaction is that it's a step up from DOAB, and will probably have more longevity for me than that one did. I'm so ready for this tour now, these songs are going to be a complete blast to see live.

Silver Lining, Hey Look Ma, Dancings Not a Crime, and Roaring 20s are currently my favorites.

I take it I'm in the total minority when I say One of the Drunks is a top 3 song on the album? Absolutely love the verses from Brendon on it. It almost doesn't even sound like him it's so different.

Also, there's not a bad song on this album. Dancings Not a Crime didn't do it for me at first but now I love it.

One of the Drunks is probably a top 5 for me. Least favorite is probably The Overpass

Glad I'm as happy as I am with this

To be clear I don't dislike any of these songs, I just think One of the Drunks and the Overpass are the two that aren't quite up to par with the rest of the album. Still solid tunes, and my opinion could easily change with more listens.
