Blizzard’s take on the class-based-shooter is so vibrant and full of personality, that each individual character has inspired its own army/fandom. And yet, some heroes are still better than others.

Yeah, that ranking is just in terms of how interesting each character is, not how strong they are or anything. Dumb article.

I will say though that I think Widowmaker is always a better pick than Hanzo. Widowmaker's fully powered sniper is the most powerful single shot in the game, and she has much better close-range utility with her rifle and mine. Hanzo's ultimate might seem more powerful, but it's fairly easy to avoid, and being able to see locations of all enemies is immensely useful even if it doesn't rack up kills directly.

 

I'm a big fan of their reviews. The one for Overwatch in particular was great. The biggest problem they have is so much empty content. Like, yeah, Overwatch is a big deal, but we clearly don't need 30 articles about it a day. Though I'm sure everyone of them gets a TON of clicks.

 

Man, this game is seriously addicting. I am not a morning person. I wake up only when I absolutely have to in order to get to work on time. This morning I woke up an hour early just to play Overwatch.

 

The Witcher was my GOTY last year, and the big expansion was one of the things I was looking forward to the most...but in the few days the expansion has been out, I've only played an hour or two because I can't stop fucking playing this game.

Combination of Genji, Widowmaker, and Pharah works really well. Plus a Reinhardt for the Widowmaker and Pharah to stand behind.

Yeah I was about to say use Widowmaker for sniping! Also Mei for blocking damage and freezing could be helpful.

combination of heroes randos tend to play horribly. thats about right

Edit: just lost a game of defend objective in literally about 45 seconds. Nobody other than me (as Lucio) was even bothering to hang around the defend zone and the other team literally just walking into them both and steamrolled it with no resistance.

Sometimes I really despair of online teammates.
