Yeah I feel like I have never experienced a dropped connection mid-match. I'm super impressed by it.

I definitely don't mind a stricter ban policy for competitive mode.

 

I've had it happen a few times where I was playing a game and my game just suddenly dropped for no reason. It just happened the other day when I was playing with lightning.

also overly defensive is awesome but the fact it doesn't give full xp makes me sad.

 

First regular game I go into after playing some overly defensive and of course it's 4 Torbjorns, 1 bastion and 1 Pharah.

I'm upset.

 

Yeah the only bad thing about Overly Defensive is it already exists as Quick Play

 

technically overly defensive only allows 2 Torbjorns so it's much better than quick play but yeah boo Torbjorn.

 

They just need to nerf him. I never really had a problem with bastion because he's easily countered, but torbjorn can just put his turret down every 10 seconds. Unreal.

 

I wish they had like a 20 second cool down AFTER it gets destroyed

 

That's exactly what I was telling my friend yesterday haha, they need to have a cooldown after destruction so it's not just having a constant turret up. It's like if D. Va could just bring back her mech right after someone blew it up every damn time.

 

I remember reading some redditz thread where they were suggesting ideas. The two I liked the most was the basic countdown starts after its destroyed. The other being that it requires scraps to build it so you actually have to go out and get scraps and also fight.

 

Yeah, like when you use Winston's shield, you have to wait until AFTER it's used for it to cool down. I hate taking Torbjorn's turret out, then all I do is get hit again because the dwarf has gone and built another one.

 

The turret, at least on consoles, auto locks on. So I'll go screw myself if I want to try and sneak up on the side, Torbjorn's turret has spotted me half the way across the map

 

Yeah Torb is OP. I'll play as him one defense once in a while if I have a really bad team and don't feel like healing or tanking (which I always do). But damn, it's boring as hell. Least for me. And so easy to play. The turret is way too quick to see an enemy come around the corner sometimes.

 

Torbjorn is like if you took the Engineer from TF2 and then removed the weaknesses that the Engineer has. Super strong hero. I like the idea of scrap being used to build the turret and upgrade it. I presume Junkrat is supposed to be the Torbjorn hard counter but he doesnt have something that can reliably take out turrets like the Demomans sticky launcher.

Meanwhile Zarya is definitely my favorite hero now. People underestimate her dueling capabilities and she can provide a lot of utility to a team.

I started to use Symmetra more and it's crazy how many people fail to stop the car wash. I'll kill someone and they will just try and run by it again in hopes of destroying the turrets.

I think I average a good 15-20 eliminations per game. I average right around 5 eliminations per life wit her.

 

I always thought the best counter to Torb was Pharrah. If you can just either get it from a distance or move in and out of cover to get it it only takes a few hits to kill.

 

Glad to see lots of Zarya love. Easily my fave hero to use. On paper she sounds broken: do more damage the more you block damage. And she really can be that sort of OPness, if you have a person who can play her well.

The two tanks and Mercy combo is a force to be reckoned with, especially Zarya and Reinhardt. If you have them two pushing, you're pretty fucked.

 

So many games I can survive 5-10 mins without dying because of Mercy, I went 20-2 early and was on a 19 killstreak for a good 9 minutes before a tracer shut me down

I just got a first win of the day bonus despite already winning like 6 games today. I'm so confused

 

Happened to me as well. I'll take the extra xp though.
