  5. The few times over the course of the weekend that I was able to put this record down were still spent just mindlessly reciting any one of of the dozens of interchangeable hooks on it. This thing is absolutely bananas and I’m all about it

This is so so good. Already multiple listens in.

    And I pre-ordered the vinyl

  7. This album has officially become an addiction. The ending of 666 Flags and the riffs in Escape Rope are currently dominating my entire attention span.

Don’t really listen to this kind of music anymore, but this is awesome. Ashamed to be from DC and just hearing about them now.

  9. This album absolutely rules. Bought my ticket for the Chicago show this morning. Local support is great and Lili from Beach Bunny is headlining.

    Regular

I've just had this on repeat ever since I saw this thread poppin'.

This album is super addicting, yeah. It's got such musicality to it, and there's some really triumphant feeling parts on this album.

It reminds me a little bit of Weatherbox, in that regard. Because....it has very good riffs, varying timing signatures, with some life-affirming/triumphant vibes throughout!

I didn't give it a good chance when it leaked originally...but I'm into it now.

I was on Sputnik yesterday and saw this band had an album and two EP's inside their best punk albums this year, so checked it out and damn, this is really really good.

I finally got around listening to their other album + EPs and the amount of growth on this album is crazy. This has snuck into my top 10 of the year for sure

Yeah, 15 year old me would’ve been obsessed with this. Dig the theatrics and sheer number of hooks they cram into every song... those last three songs are a killer end run. I hear traces of Moneen, Bayside, and Just Surrender.

I find this whole album to be incredible, but I find it interesting that some of the songs that struck me as the most immediate are towards the end. Proves how packed this album is, that some of the songs I grabbed onto first were 8 & 9.

I always have a different moment from this stuck in my head - currently it’s that smoooooooth transition from Escape Rope into title track.
