I don’t think there’s any wrong answer. But I will say the Brightest Days (probably the 10th time I’ve said this in the thread) *sounds* the best.

The way the guitars explode feels more similar to their live show. Title track, SBF, PG County Summer and Few and Far Between are the best examples. I feel like the more pronounced bite/low end growl on some of the tone of that record feeds straight into songs like Dirty Mirror Selfie.

Absolutely cannot wait for the record.

I think each release has been a level up for me, so I’d say The Brightest Days is their best so far. I look forward to them leveling up again on Friday though.

echo'd. as much as I enjoy all their stuff I really love SC and I know I won't love any of their new records as much as they are more in the poppy vibes now.

Gami Gang was the first album of theirs I heard and that always colours perspective. I like Somewhere City but only Find Your Throne stands up to their absolute best tracks for me.

I like the first two but The Brightest Days was a huge step up for me. Really excited for this one

The same here, probably. Listening to all the new singles the other day has me hoping it can top them all

one of those albums where even after the first listen it’s pretty obvious that it’s a band at their best

probably best first listen of an album from this brand of pop punk since the camp trash album

I start reading reviews, make it two sentences in and then quit. I want it to just wash over me, without a spoiler.

I’ll need more time with this. It’s great, but doesn’t capture the raw energy of Gami Gang or Somewhere City for me after one listen. Seems more subdued which isn’t a bad thing, just not what I’m used to with Gami. I have a feeling it’ll grow heavily on subsequent listens.

Ahhh nevermind, it was just thrown onto my front porch. So day early! But also thrown!

Hype for this has surpassed my hype for B&C. I've run it into the ground and Fruit Wine still keeps getting better with each listen. These guys are a breath of fresh air for this genre.

Really great first listen. I know the comparison is overused, but so much of this really reminds me of Relient K
