Still haven’t seen Tenet, but from what I’ve heard I don’t plan to. Recently watched Dunkirk and liked it much more than when I saw it in theaters.

I think if you dig Nolan movies, Tenet is worth seeing at least once.

Not sure if this is a hot take but Tenet is much better than Dunkirk.

I love a good war film, but I found Dunkirk boring. It’s as if he wanted to make a suspenseful war film. If so, he succeeded. That just doesn’t work for me.

Dunkirk is Nolan's best film imo and Tenet's pretty good too. Seen that one three times and I still don't fully follow it but it sure is something to behold

If I wanna get hyped all I have to do is look at the casting on wiki.

went on wiki to remember what movie the teaser played before and ended up going down a wiki hole about the manhattan project, trinity, the WWII bombings. Wild shit.

I did this a few summers ago. History is always much more fascinating than fiction. It helps that it’s near the beginning of my favorite historical period.

I hope WW2 procedurals become more of a thing after this movie. There is still plenty of fascinating virtually untold stories from that war that don't involve actual combat.

I want a weather forecasting for the D Day landings movie about James Stagg. Also shocked we haven't had a Agana Riots movie.

I’d love more films on the pacific theater. Tora! Tora! Tora! is great. Letters from Iwo Jima is great.

Pearl Harbor is not a good movie but I do like the battle scenes.

The best WWII film thus far is Saving Private Ryan imo. The D day opening…brutal

Watch Midway on Peacock if you haven't yet. The acting and dialogue isn't great, but its one of the most historically accurate battle oriented WW2 movies I have ever seen.

You can tell Roland Emmerich made getting everything about Battle of Midway right a priority. It got so into the weeds that it was the first WW2 movie that talked about how shitty the Mark 14 Torpedo was and how much of a problem it was for the US Navy.

I guess this was one of the first trailers to play? I didn't see this or Barbie in my IMAX Avatar screening last night.
