    Loved it

Some Sorkin-worthy moments of dialogue too in many scenes.

Go back to 2005 and tell me Josh from “Drake and Josh” would be pressing the A-bomb test button.

Yeah see this proves Nolan CAN write.

    The 1570 was insane

    RDJ was insane

Casey Affleck was the real shitty and out of place performance, Damon was fine

damon was great, rdj was the best in the movie. i didn't mine affleck either. safdie, with the accent, was a little rough.

The timeline shifting really helped it, feels like I've never seen a three hour mostly dialogue movie that kept up such a rapid pace

I would say Murphy has a greater chance to win for lead actor than RDJ for supporting, but that’s just me. There are so many damn characters in this movie that I think Murphy is the one who gets remembered.

strangely i think murphy has a better chance to win but rdj seems to virtually be a lock to get a nomination for supporting and i could see best actor getting too crowded

It reminded me a lot of The Social Network and that’s one of my favorite films, so

This would not work at all without the timeline shifting back and forth. The editing for this really is outstanding.

it's so funny to look up the wiki on some of these people and see like "widely considered to be one of the ten most important physicists of all time" and then it's just jack quaid being a bumbling dork in this

  16. Liked this a lot, didn’t love it

The one flaw: really wish it didn't stray from those physics-y visual cuts it kept doing during the beginning (or at least returned to them in a different way than they did)

  18. Probably my fault due lack of research and reading before seeing the film (intentional) but I thought we were actually going to see a drop on Japan

I was bracing myself for shots of the aftereffects, but that obviously never happened.

they turned Downey into Schumer and Jason Clarke into Kevin Kline, I didn't mind Casey Affleck because they were like Casey Affleck strangled a bunch of Russians with his bare hands and I was like yeah that sounds about right

It was definitely a lot to keep track of and hard to spend 3 hours with a bunch of genocidal maniacs even if it made it clear that they were genocidal, and it was like yeah they shouldn't have railroaded him but also no sympathy, especially when Krumholtz was like maybe we shouldn't kill innocent people you know what you're my friend

Really enjoyed this. I need a rewatch with subtitles, since some dialogue was hard to hear. I didn’t realize so many big people were in this.
Some people left my showing cause there was too much talking and not enough bombs. Crazy!
