You think I am trolling because I think the movie is stupid as it has not one ounce of history in it? ? Get a clue....there are more opinions than just yours!

We can take another's point of view, when it is a rational thought that provides a logical argument for another point of view - your post was simply not that, but ranting on how there was only one right way to shoot this story.

There are other ways of showing historical events than being 100% accurate, or even 50% accurate - if you think it has to be accurate, that you think a director has only one way of showing a time period like this, then you don't get the very point of movies in the first place

Can you explain why Tarantino should have showed everything exactly as it went down? Or should he have made a documentary instead?

Rick Fucking Dalton wasn't a real guy...?!?!? I thought this was a biopic!!! Fuck it, I'm not gonna watch this.

Just kidding. I rented this as soon as it was available and I'm hoping my wife and I can squeeze it in before it expires in a month. We managed to watch The Irishman, so.

Watching last Friday was my 2nd time seeing it, and I already want to watch it again soon. It's such an enjoyable film to watch

It's especially funny in the context that even biopics that purport to accurately reflect reality always take massive creative licenses at nearly every turn. Basically all of the big confrontational or emotional scenes in Hidden Figures where the characters directly address or overcome institutional racism are complete fabrications. The King's Speech is based entirely around an extremely exaggerated version of a personal struggle. The list goes on forever, but at least Tarantino doesn't try to pull the wool over our eyes

Has it already been pointed out that on the poster it says both Once Upon a Time in...Hollywood and Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood?

That 7" probably has a lot to do with it.

  24. I loved this movie even more the 2nd time around, like most of his movies. This is in the top 5 of his, maybe top 3 for me personally when all is said and done. Man, the parts with Booth and his dog (especially the beginning when he feeds her and of course the connection to that part at the end) had me dying of laughter. Not many shows or movies can do that for me anymore.

The deleted scene with Charlie should have stayed in IMO, just for cliffs “da fuk was that” at the end.
