I have one or two chapter 2’s left, but the recommended character level is higher than some of the chapter 3’s. How did you all handle this? Level up the characters to complete the chapter two(s) before moving onto any of the third chapters?

 

I played chapters from least to greatest rec level order, even if I had to play some chapter threes before twos. It doesn’t really matter.

 

same, I went out of order from least to highest level chapters. Level doesn't matter anywhere near as much as gear and class setup tbh

 

Yeah you’re gonna progress some stories faster and further than others to keep up with the level pace but it makes it so you don’t really have to grind like you did in the first game where every chapter was a huge level jump from the previous one for everybody. Bravely Default 2 has had that problem a bit in the early hours where the level curve is weirdly steep dungeon to dungeon as you just move through the story

 

I’m working on all their last chapters (four down and four to go) and so far the only boss I’m really struggling with is Agnea’s. I’ll skip it and come back after Osvald’s. There’s two stages and you can’t save between them. She gets two of your party members onto her side and has her turns as well and locks away all her weaknesses but one.

 

oh yeah that one was a doozy. thankfully Agnea herself is immune to being Allured. Throne is a must for this one since both boss phases are weak to dagger
