A lot of it is really blending together on the first listen, but I’m liking what I’m hearing so I’m sure once I listen more and become more familiar things will get better for me

    SGL is still >>>>>>>

This album is like Now, Now meets Washed Out meets Carly Jae Repsen.

Also the phrase “vocal scatting” being used in this thread - incredible. Thread closed.

In other news their set last night was great. In a venue with better sound it makes a huge difference. Played mostly new, with a sprinkling of Prehistoric and Thread.

I presume the set is the same throughout the tour? Think it was like 8 new songs and the rest of the 17 or so were Threads and the title track from Cars, (which was the highlight of the night for me). Adore the new album and Threads, but Cars is my life.

Sad to see there are folk on discogs trying to sell that vinyl for 100+ now, especially considering I managed to get a sealed vinyl copy of it for £12 a couple years ago.

Nope, since the sets are only 30 minutes (it’s The Great Escape Festival), they play about 8 songs I think.

It was something like (ordering messed):
    Yours
    AZ
    Saved
    Prehistoric
    Yours
    MJ
    SGL
    Thread

Oh I forgot they were doing the festival appearances. Bet you’re glad you got to see them in London playing a full set too!

Is typing it that way a thing here or? It wasn’t stylised that way on the early copy I got it or on Spotify. Also, Spotify seems to have Know Me as Knowme. Strange. Don’t know which is legit. My vinyl should arrive today, I’ll go with whatever’s on that haha.

Spotify has it as P0WDER for me, and Knowme as well. I guess we'll see when the vinyl comes but it looks like those are the actual titles

Can speak from experience that if you're making pop music that's viewed as trying to be in any way mainstream or catchy, nobody bothers with the lyrics. Haha

    Also, these are great.

I was recommended to listen to this band a year or so ago on this website and unfortunately never got around to it. However, for some reason I decided to play this new record and it's really really good. Fantastic indie pop music. On a few listens it's already one of my favorite albums this year. I will have to go back and listen to their other stuff now.

Their store has it as P0WDER too, so I’ll go with that. U.K. Spotify doesn’t, but weirdly it has Knowme when their store says Know Me. Odd. Apparently listed as Know Me on the vinyl too. Same with the setlists we’ve procures so far.
