Got through most of the album at lunch (skipped the singles) this album ends super strong. Also the production is great, can’t wait to hear it in full quality.

 

I'm not mad into this.

 

The only song I was somewhat disappointed in was P0WDER- only because everyone who already heard the album agreed it was great.

Maybe it’ll click with me a few more listens in?

 

It's driving me a lil crazy how much she uses 'baby' to fill out/end a line, but other than that, I'm loving it so far. I already loved the singles, but upon first listen, 'Window' really jumped out at me. DAT CHORUS.

 

What a pleasant first listen! I enjoyed it so far, but I'm getting too many interruptions at work right now. I can't wait to sit down and have a full listen of the album from start to finish.

 

I still think it’s a really strong closer. I’m sure it’ll grow on you!

 

I just wish that it moved a bit more - all one tempo for most of it. Still think Yours is the gem here.

 

I think it’s really consistent. Some will see that as a con, but it’s a pro in my books. I really enjoy listening to this album in full. It’s the perfect summer driving album, in my opinion.

 

Drive is up my alley.

Album started pretty good. Got to track "Window" GOD DAMN It's good.

 

this is a lot more ambient/beat based than i was expecting from the singles

 

Agreed, it was a really nice surprise. Loving this so far.

 

Jason was right about the JEW reference. I hear it a lot in "Holy Water".

 

Yeah that’s one criticism I have right off the bat. Almost every song has the same tempo/feel so some songs felt almost like filler.

I think my favorite two songs would be SGL and Can’t Help Myself.

 

Feels like a night album

Dunno, I think the tempo varies pretty well throughout the album.

 

Haha, how did you get this info?? But yea I def don’t feel like the tempos all the same. Maybe just that sonically the songs exist in a similar space but I think it works well here.

Somebody needs to count how many times the word "baby" is sung on this album. Despite that minor annoyance, I'm really enjoying this. Definitely good summer nighttime music.
