I like Moonraker a lot hah

 

Diamonds are forever rules. It’s so absurd and fun. It’s easily die another day and nothing else is even close.

 

A View to a Kill and DAD are my picks. I despise SPECTRE but it has a couple moments I can still watch at least.

 

good call on View to a Kill, i nearly forget that one even exists. Not even young Walken can redeem it.

 

Die another day is the only Bond movie I’ve ever watched where I could not find ANYTHING to latch onto. How do you ruin even Rosamund fucking Pike?

 

Lol I love a view to a kill, though only in a “have a few drinks and hate watch it” sort of way.

 

A view to a kill is ranked #11 in my list and I’m aware that’s insane.

 

I mean i’m in no way asking people to do it but if we all did a ranking i’m sure there would be some wild opinions hah

 

i’m gonna rewatch before NTTD and will post my ranking then and only then

 

Die Another Day is probably the worst just because at least the worst Moore films are intentionally being campy and dumb fun

None of the Craig movies are anywhere near Die Another Day-level awful

 

Is the sound mix in QoS still shit for everyone else (streaming/digital store purchase) ? Last I checked it was still a little wack for me

 

Most of the Pierce movies are honestly bleh, you got Goldeneye and then a bunch of filler movies. Hell, more people remember that game over that movie if you wanna push on it.

 

Goldeneye rules and the next 2 are fun but each takes a step down til die another day which is almost unwatchable.

 

Goldeneye is the only one that I remember the plot from, the rest are a literal haze trying to remember them.

 

This. Goldeneye is S-tier Bond but Pierce's diminishing returns began almost immediately.

 

it’s a shame bc he was actually a great Bond. just absolute dorks directing and writing.

 

Goldeneye is a top 5 bond film for me, and the ranking of Brosnan's movies are the order in which they were released, best to worst.

 

Way too difficult to rank all of them, but On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is probably my favorite.

 

It’s too bad he never got a really great movie. Goldeneye is good but I find myself liking it less and less every time I watch it. I probably like Tomorrow Never Dies more


I find myself liking The World Is Not Enough more and more. It’s not great, but it’s like a solid 7.

 

All the themes after Goldeneye are kinda flat/whatever too

 

Tomorrow Never Dies is definitely the best Brosnan-era Bond IMO.

 

If the delta variant pushes this back further I’m jumping off a bridge.
