started playing Dragalia Lost again. far and away the most enjoyable and least predatory gacha on the market but i still hate that im hooked on a gacha

I thought that Fire Emblem game wasn’t too predatory

 

it's not but it just isn't any fun for me, Dragalia has a lot of engaging pve content with 4-16 player parties

 

Yeah I thought it was well made but I also stopped after a few hours because it’s too limited and not FE-y enough

 

Dragalia is also much more generous, this event gave four free multi summons and a free guaranteed 5 star, works out to like $80 of premium stuff over 8 days. dev team is also awesome and incredibly responsive by any standard

 

ironically it's a Fire Emblem crossover event too lol

 

i wasn't going to buy this game unitl i saw miles, kamala and gwen in the trailer

I delete and re-download Dragalia a lot. Usually come back when an event seems interesting. Definitely the least predatory gatcha game that I've played, but the grind can become unbearable at times.

 

this is me exactly. i will grind every event as far as i can because of fomo so ill set it down for weeks at a time. the current event reflects a lot of positive changes for the grind, after two days of playing im two thirds of the way to having all of the must have event stuff, and then after that the points rewards just keep going to like 10 million but it's the same three mats over and over in higher numbers, so the deep grind is there for those who want it but im totally putting it down once i hit one mil. the event specific rewards end at 650k. for perspective, on the Lunatic difficulty on this one, you get 30-50k per clear depending on if you have the event boosted prynts equipped.

problem is that stage is hard as fuck and my squad clears it one out of every five times or so

 

This rougelike I keep wanting to try went on sale for 1.99, Mana Spark, gold coins covered it all. Fun little challenging roguelike for sure, kinda has the same feel as EtG and a hell of a value for the price.

 

how many games do you have on the Switch? I checked my library other day and it’s 32, I was shocked I had that many.

 

Oh man, probably around the same. Haha.

 

Picked up DeadCells. The controls feel so tight. Loving it so far.
