about halfway through Golden Sun, the game has aged incredibly well outside of two areas: the inventory system is abysmal and the dialogue is really just painfully long in areas that don't really need it

Omg so today I sat down and did the “Challenge Road” single player thing in Super Mario Party because I wanted to unlock the characters I was missing. And when you finally beat all 80 mini games Toad sits down and says, and I am not kidding:

“You’ve made it to the end of the Challenge Road, but the real challenge is living your best life.”

the story is solid enough for me to stick with it for a while
