i know it's a thread meme but the first two Golden Sun games have a real argument for being the best JRPGs released in the west. i am enjoying my fourth or fifth playthrough of the first game so much. it's just so well made. the dungeon's puzzles being primarily focused on manipulating the physical environment make each dungeon feel like it serves a purpose and is actually a part or the world rather than a conveniently placed hole in a wall that ends with a symmetrical chamber with a chest in the middle. i still am struggling to remember how to get to some of the Djinn.

also god bless modern emulation allowing me to use fast forward for grinding

I love Cuphead! The music and art is the star of the show but the fights are also really well-designed. Kind of surprised how much fun it is to play.
