I mean yeah you could, but when I travel with my switch I like to power down properly between play sessions

 

I think they have quick save. You can quit and go back. What they don’t have is being able to reload a game multiple times using the same save.

I mean, some people play on PC and Xbox and might want to do other things. Also, maybe I want to fall asleep to some Hulu and that requires me to close the other app I'm using on Switch.

 

that’s what I meant when I say quicksave. Isn’t there an option to suspend the game?
like you can quit Wargroove and play something else.

if that doesn’t exist then I agree with you that they should really add that.

Really good with the exception that the controls are not intuitive and took me a long time to get used to. They really make it more complicated than it needs to be.

Tangledeep update coming soon! I have seen the devs for this game interact with plenty of people on reddit, seems like Wargroove has that going too, so cool to see that. I guess because I am new to indie games I had never seen that much before.

So I think my switch isn’t charging my right joy con. Guess I need to send two switches in. At least this one is under warranty

 

Has anyone here played CIV on the switch? Does it handle ok? I keep thinking about picking it up but I'm a bit hesitant to do so.

 

It handles pretty well up until a point. I haven't finished a game yet because they go on forever but there definitely comes a time where it starts to slow down once the map becomes very populated.

 

I completed a game on it (I won, NBD) and really didn't notice much of a change, if there is any slow down it's because the other countries need to take their turns and even then it wasn't really noticeable. I'm also not frame rate sensitive at all. The consensus i've seen though is that it runs great.
