Pretty bummed. A new Metroid Prime is all I'm looking forward to in video game world.

I'm not a HUGE gamer and haven't been for like 10+ years. I only got a Switch last month after not buying a console since the 360, haha

 

Honestly I’m also not necessarily forward to a lot of stuff these days, I’m mostly waiting for something to take me by surprise

 

I think removing yourself from the hype cycle is the best thing you can do as someone who wants to appreciate a game.

 

cliche to say but i’m looking forward to a ton and 99% of it is indie titles. at this point in time, 10-20 dollars for a < 15 hour experience is perfect for me. if i were to jump into something like RDR2 for instance it would take me months to complete and i’d feel like i didn’t play any games this year. i started DQXI one month ago to the day and just hit level 17 with the protagonist.

in terms of bigger games that aren’t out yet, Fire Emblem, Yoshi, and Animal Crossing are all i’m really guaranteed to pick up.

 

oh and Pokémon and the new Digimon SRPG and the Dragon Ball Heroes port because when it comes to anime i am one basic bitch

 

Pokémon and SMT V are the ones I'm most excited for right noe, and I know nothing about them lol. Just love both those series

superhot VR is the most fun PS VR experience I have had

 

I’m looking forward to Pokemon, new Gears, Dragon Quest I guess, Yo Kai Watch because it looks so pretty, that’s the stuff on the horizon at least

 

I’ve heard rumblings about a new Zelda this year.

 

Yeah a top down one, I can see that. If they are still making them now would be about the time for one.

I'm excited for Pokemon, SMTV, a top down Zelda if that happens, Kingdom Hearts 3 which I have already purchased, and to not buy as many games as last year

 

didn’t retro re-do the donkey Kong hd version

 

i mean, that game could easily be in post-pro or in a state where they don’t need all hands on deck rn

 

give me Boshi's Island

 

They did Metroid Prime 1-3 and afterwards all the Donkey Kong Country Wii and WiiU games

 

It’s probably Donkey Kong isn’t it

 

I was going to say wasn’t their a Metroid reference in the tropical freeze remake so forecasting??
