The secret best news from all of this besides Zelda's date is that Puyo Puyo Tetris is coming out in the west.

Some great looking games but I'll probably wait a while to get the Switch

 

So Mario is coming holidays, Zelda is coming out on Wii U. Who even knows when Mario Kart is coming out.

I wanna get hype, but it just doesn't seem worth it at this point.

Not gonna lie a big selling point for me was when the guy said you could play when sprawled out on a couch

 

For Mario Kart? That is better than expecting.

Still strongly leaning towards getting Zelda for Wii U and then picking up the Switch for Mario

 

I think out of them I'll pick up Zelda and Bomberman at launch. I'll need to look into the titles I've bolded there that I don't recognise.

Right I've pre-ordered the switch, Zelda and Mario Kart. Some of the prices in the uk are ridiculous, Pro Controller is £99.99 and Zelda was £59.99. Still stoked for Zelda!

Pre ordered from amazon in the middle of the night

 

Just noticed we still haven't seen Link in the green tunic, even on the box art. Crazy.

 

I preordered and got local pickup at best buy (with a midnight release too) but I gotta think about it. Tough debate whether playing Zelda in bed is worth jumping on board 8 months before anything else is coming out.

Day 1 lineup is too weak for me to pre-order, but I'm pretty interested in picking this up after E3. Games lineup is really impressive imo.

 

When will the treehouse be on? Hoping we get to hear more new games.

Overall I was really let down but the Switch has ridiculous potential especially with the joycon and hd rumble. I hope a lot of devs would capitalize on the features and do some neat stuff and make the console really stand out.

Day 1 for me though, just because of Zelda. Also being rl friends with goofy Nintendo fans, I'm sure we'll find a way to make 1-2-Switch a blast.

 

for me it depends on the old games I can access on day one. can I access and get stuff from gamecube, if so, then that and Zelda are good for me on day one. I never got a wii u, so if there are ports, I'm still stoked on some of those cause I never played them

 

I'm not sure what people are so let down by, what were you expecting? It's not just Nintendo that has limited launch lineups....PS4 launched with what, Killzone? This is launching with fucking Zelda!

 

This is launching with Zelda which is also out on the Wii U and has pretty much nothing else until Mario at the end of the year. Plus they've put out hardly any games for the Wii U the past year or two so they really should have been working on some great stuff.

From memory all the big titles on these lists would've been on both older generations consoles too.

 

I skipped Wii U entirely, but I can see how current owners of it don't feel the need to have the switch version, aside from portability. Because of this, Mario Kart 8 will also be new to me.

 

Zelda on Switch just feels right to me.

And I don't know. The presentation just really felt off. Also the pricing of the accessories. It doesn't affect me that much since I'd buy anything from Nintendo anyway. But idk. Might be just paranoid because I really want it to sell well.
