yeah was referring to in store. that's good to hear this makes it so much more likely that ill get it on launch date, the only thing left for me to know is whether breath of the wild will be a launch title

 

When you preorder a console at GameStop, do they get in enough to fill their preorders on release day or is it like they get whatever they get and can only fulfill so many preorders at a time? I've never preordered a console but damn I need this.

 

Usually they'll know the exact number of consoles they'll be getting in, and cap pre-orders at that number, at least that's how it was when I pre-ordered a PS4

 

i'm preordering mine from best buy, because i have a $300 gift card.

 

I preordered a WiiU in our equivalent of Game mStop. The day it released they called me and said I had to wait a few weeks until they'll get enough to fulfill all the preorders. I walked into another store that same day and got one. So yeah, it's no guarantee and it all depens on the store and so on.

 

Yeah, I know that Best Buy will 100% just cancel your pre-order, and they don't do it on any kind of "first-come, first-served" basis either. It's a lottery. Happened to me with the artificially-scarce Majora's Mask New Nintendo 3DS XL back when that came out. As for GameStop, I think they will hold your pre-order until they can fulfill it, not sure if it's first-come, first-served though.

 

Goddamnit for some reason I thought it was already January 8. The wait is driving me nuts.

In other news Conquest is pretty good so far. This is the Fire Emblem I know.

I do like when Syrenne is on the show

 

I like her, it's just I'm not really into some of the obscure games she plays. So I find myself getting bored or fast forwarding when she does her new business. I do like when she talks about the game industry as whole, she's very well informed and well spoken.
Daan seems nice enough. I can't really explain why I don't like him, but he does irritate me.

 

I live in the Netherlands (I'm not Dutch though) and hearing a Dutch guy on RFN is weirdly irritating to me, haha.

I understand what you mean about Syrenne, but I like it when people talk about obscure games, haha. And yeah she knows a lot.

 

Someone just gifted me a Wind Waker HD and I'm pausing every activity until I finish this.

It looks so gorgeous.

 

Finished the Deku Tree arc. I had no idea OoT is sort of connected to this. Goosebumps when I got to that huge area where the spider was in OoT.

 

I'm getting a free wii from my grandparents that they just have kicking about at theirs. Definitely going to pick up all the Zelda games for it. Will be good prep for the switch in March.

 

The Wii has a lot of random AA games a lot of people did not play or do not know but that are pretty cool. Death Junior comes to mind.
