Two 3DS games on the list.

 

Did not expect those games at all. But Pokemon Picross is also one of my most played 3DS games haha.

 

Scored a Nintendo Mini for myself this morning. Brickseek said they had one, so I stopped by the Target near work before heading in. Waited outside for maybe 20 minutes. One of the employees came out about five minutes before they opened, told me they didn't have any. Went to look anyways, and they did have one. So huzzah to me!

 

I think there is a real case for both of those games to be on a 2016 Top 10 list and I'm glad someone made it haha

 

For real lol, my 3DS shows it as being 100+ hours, but I also had my 3DS open and paused for a considerable amount of time because I'd play it at work and set it aside when it got busy. My only gripe would be that it became super easy towards the end with some of the better Pokemon powerups, but it's my own fault for using them.

 

@TheLuckyMoose I only played the demo of Rhythm but I thought it was well-made and funny. I might grab a copy at some point. I agree with what you said.

@electro haikus i only use the power ups required by the mission for smaller puzzles, but for the larger ones when I don't feel like thinking I also use the OP ones haha. Zelda Picross isn't finished either.

My friend let me borrow his 3DS so I could finally play through Majora's Mask but I just got distracted by his downloads of Oracle of Ages & Seasons even tho I've already finished both..

 

Those are such great, underrated games

 

February Cover Revealed – The Top 50 Games Of 2016

So they do say that there will be some sort of coverage for Breath of the Wild in there. I'll check my digital copy of the issue when I can and report back.

 

So, nothing major in the preview here. Just a new trailer and some gameplay footage that the writer of the piece saw. No release date info, no major new details of note. Looks like they're keeping it all back for the 12th.

So apparently the Mario x Rabbids game is a Strategy RPG. Your party consists of Mario characters and the enemy forces are Rabbids. Being developed by Ubisoft with close supervision from Nintendo.

I thought Ghost Recon Shadow Warrior was a decent strategy RPG. Interested to see what Ubi does with this.

 

Actually, the enemies are shadow rabbits. The regular rabbits help you, I assume. That's what I read anyway.

the time from the initial announcement to january 12 has been loooong. I can only imagine what january 12 to march x will be like.

 

if that's true and so is being region-free, that means Europe might just order from other parts of the world for their copy? It could possibly go crazy.

 

I don't want to play Mass Effect and Zelda in the same month anyway

I think some EU retailers are taking preorders, Game and GameStop in the U.K., Italy, and Germany.

 

i made this question a while back but never got a response. when it comes to preordering a console through gamestop is it like preordering a game where you can pay it in parts and you just have to pay it off completely when you pick it up?

 

yeah, usually a $50 deposit upfront then you can pay the rest whenever/when you pick up the console.

assuming you're talking about in store, at least, for online preorders gamestop charges the whole thing right away.
