Like I said, I was skeptical of all that at first too, and it turned out awesome, so I'm looking forward to being wrong on this too!

 

Brawlout comes to Switch 12/19. This will give me and my brother a nice reason to yell at each other at Christmas.

Monolith is out there talking about wanting to port Xenoblade Chronicles X to Switch; YES PLEASE. It's still my favorite and it'd be absolutely amazing on Switch.

 

I got it for Wii U and only played for like 3 hours. I will say Xenoblade Chronicles 2 does a much better job of keeping the early game interesting. In X I just wanted to fly around in a giant mech because it was on the cover but that part of the game is like 30 hours in.

 

I can understand your perspective but it's the opposite with me. XC2 is way too handholdy or linear even hours in for me.

 

To be fair, I probably didn't mind it because this is the first time I've played a game with this combat system.

 

I mean it's still confusing and shit but I mean like more in terms of pacing

 

playing Human Fall Flat today, pretty fun with some quirky mechanics.

Kind of wish I got Steamworld though, not because this is bad but because I forgot about that and how much I want to play it

 

Almost bought a switch today, it was cheaper than I thought. But I'm unemployed, and I fear I'll stay unemployed for a long time I get a switch

 

I just started the original Xenoblade Chronicles and I am already impressed with how streamlined some of the annoyances of JRPGs are.

Apparently there is, yes.

 

Floor Kids is a good time, even though it's very short. The art and music are incredibly charming.

You bought it? How deep/easy to learn is the game? I kind of want to play it with my SO but I’m also planning on getting Nine Parchments so idk

 

I already miss Skells but I wish they do something about inventory management and other qol.

I’m probably going to double dip as well, especially if it releases on a window where there’s not much new games out.

And more cosmetics please.

 

It's pretty easy to figure out but there are a lot of things to consider if you want to get the highest scores. A lot of that is through experimenting as some of the advanced techniques like hopping and flips aren't explained in the tutorial. Each character has 4 named combos made from a pool of 16 moves that you'll want to remember too. The nice part is that other than moments where a crowd member will call out a move-type to do, it's all up to the player how they want to dance.

The modes are not especially deep, though mayne that'll change with updates. Its just a story mode that'll take roughly an hour if you just steamroll through and a multiplayer mode, which I haven't tried but could be fun. I really like the game, but the price is a bit high for the amount of content unless you really like unique rhythm games a lot.
