My second run with BotW (hero mode, Japanese dubs) I just got to Revali and I really like him more this time. I’m not sure if it’s the VA or something just clicked but I started liking how arrogant he is.

The part where he says something like, “So you manage to defeat [the wind boss] after all. I didn’t think you’d be so... lucky” made me laugh out. Forgot about that line.

I bought the Super Mario Odyssey Switch bundle. I am flying soon so I figured the extra twenty dollars was worth it for the carrying case.

 

Getting through Odyssey and approaching the last(?) world. Some of these Moons where you have to make every move perfectly in order to get them are frustrating...ly fun.

 

Beat Golf Story this weekend, what a great game. Those gameboy Mario Golf & Tennis rpgs were some of my favorite games of all time and this totally lived up as a spiritual successor. Couple nitpicky complaints like the putting being pretty bad and the leveling up not feeling like it accomplished much but even still these kind of games are so fun. Nintendo needs to get back in the sports rpg game, I could play these over and over.

Nintendo Voice Chat (IGN’s Ninty podcast) has been consistently good. The latest episode they interviewed the president of Factor 5 and talked about the unreleased Star Wars game for Wii. I haven’t played any of the Rogue Squadron games but their discussion was pretty interesting.

I missed the Gamecube era (didn’t have any console that time) so not playing Rogue Squadron is not the biggest reason for banning here.

my cousin let me play his super Mario odyssey and I’m crying on how bad I want it now.

 

Not tomorrow, but definitely pumped to play soon. Everything I’ve played so far on the console, besides 1-2 and Splatoon, has exceeded my expectations. The hype for rocket league is huge but i have faith they can make it happen.
