HORI everything rules.

 

Turns out I didn’t have enough will power, I’ve just bought Odyssey

 

I played 5 straight hours last night til 2am. Haven’t done this since BotW with a game this year. Odyssey is everything I wanted and more. It’s a masterpiece.

 

Got to the sand kingdom last night and had to turn it off. I could have pulled an all nighter playing that game. Soooo much fun.

 

But now you have power moons

 

I do, I have a whole 6 moons so far. I’m at my parents so I haven’t been able to play it too much, but my god I’ve had a big grin the whole time I have been.

 

I’ve been playing non stop since Friday. Sitting at around 170 moons at the Seaside Kingdom. This game is perfect.

 

This year has been so weird for me and often bad especially in the last few weeks and this new Mario game makes me so happy. I just played the little festival moment and I straight felt like crying happy tears. What an incredible game. Wow.

 

Is there any worse feeling than buying a new game that is amazing and then having a bunch of social/work obligations? Screw these people, I just want to be at home lol

 

I didn't bring it to work with me today and it's dead as fuck and now I'm filled with regret

 

I'm playing it at work right now.

 

I just became a giant, sentient piece of beef. The weirdness of this game cannot be over stated...

 

I think I'm on my way to New Donk City next and I'm excited.

 

I loved New Donk City so much that I wish the entire game was that. All the feels.

 

New Donk City might’ve just made me replace BOTW with Odyssey as my GOTY and GOAT.

Like, my head is still buzzing from how great it is.

 

NDC is the best so far but knowing there's a Peach Castle world in the post game has me feeling some type of way

 

about to go there. very curious, as I think BOTW might be the best thing that ever happened to gaming and Mario is "only" a "regular" 9.5-10.

 

All year I think I had a problem with being apathetic towards people and life in general and I was just telling my SO how it’s weird that I haven’t cried all year about anything even the ones I should really have been bummed about (well maybe except that Bojack S4 finale) and then as I started that part involuntarily I bawled like a baby.

I love new Nintendo so much.

 

I feel like BotW is a slower burn compared to Mario, where the game rewards you with little doses of happiness one after the other with huge jumps in between them. But there are a lot of things in Mario especially at the later parts where I definitely feel like it’s going to be a milestone game like BotW.

Not saying one is better than the other but right now if I had to pick a better game my brain would explode.

 

Does Mario feel pain when being a sentient piece of meat? Because those claws would’ve hurt like hell.

 

I think BOTW and Odyssey are both the best at what they do.

 

Sunshine will probably always be my favorite game but Oddysey is probably the best 3D platformer ever made and one of the best games ever made.

By the way, there is a four minute official version of Jump Up Superstar on iTunes. I bought it of course, haha.
