I was never real crazy about SNES outside of the Mario games. Definitely going to go after the NES Classic when it's re-released next year.

Some people say "I know it's unpopular opinion but" and then say something that's totally fine.

I'm happy that this at least delivered haha. Well done.

 

I want the SNES Classic... but goddamn I've gotta draw the line somehwere. I need Mario Odyssey, Skyrim, and Xenoblade for Switch in the next few months, and that's not considering the stuff I want for other platforms. Gonna die.

 

I'm not excited for that many games this fall except for Xenoblade and Mario.. I'm tentatively interested in Need For Speed, Assassin's Creed and PUBG I guess and I'm also looking forward to South Park. I'm an outlier when it comes to 2017, I think except for Nintendo it wasn't a strong year at all so far. I haven't had a lot time to play games though so maybe I'm just bitter.

 

Picked this up because why not:




Gonna start playing Samus Returns tonight. Still loving Rabbids. Been going back and playing some WiiU titles over the weekend. Love Mario Maker so much.

 

Samus Returns is so great, I highly recommend it.

So for my switch I have BOTW, Splatoon and I'm waiting for Mario Odyssey. I'm a little concerned though because I have no idea when the next game I'll get would even be? Probably Kirby or Yoshi, whichever comes first but that'll be quite some time.

That's it for retail games, but I also need a new PS4, and I would be a fool to forget all of the amazing indie games coming to Switch that will add up real fast

 

So many good indies on Switch now, and more coming soon. But yea, Mario Odyssey is gonna take up the rest of 2017 for me. I probably won't even touch Xenoblade or Skyrim until 2018. Plus, 3DS has the Mario and Luigi remake next month.

 

Any recommendations? I just realized I don't play games that frequently haha. I've had my 3DS since the day it came out and I only have 12 games for it (although l do have 20 older games on it + there's 5 3DS titles I still want)

 

Oceanhorn is an awesome Zelda clone (think Wind Waker), Cave Story is a fun little game, and the SNK games on the Eshop are amazing for solo play or with a friend. Most of the Nicalis published indies on Switch are excellent.

Must haves for SNK are:

Aero Fighters 2
Metal Slug 1-3
Shock Troopers

 

Yeah I did not count indies, I want some of those

 

It's kind of a light fall/winter for me (Mario, Xenoblade, Wolfenstein II, maybe Battlefront/AC:O, indies galore) but I also have a few things that I've grabbed in the past couple weeks that I haven't touched much due mostly to Destiny 2, which will probably also continue to take up some time the rest of the year.

On that note, picked up Metroid today even though I don't think I'll start it for a little bit.

 

I'm interested in that Battlefront campaign because I like the people associated with it, I might grab that one

 

love seeing some PUBG love I wanna play with all my Nintendo friends.

Mario is going to consume my life. I was talking to a friend and we both realized it’s a lot closer than it feels.

 

me and my buddies have a general voice discord we drop in and out of whenever we're sitting on our asses at home. usually i'll be playing something like hearthstone with my one friend and then 4 others will float in and start playing pubg and it sounds like they're having the time of their lives and we're always so jealous lol. need that xbox release yesterday

 

the snes classic comes out on my birthday so of course I'm going to try everything possible to get one first day.

 

I think I'm also going to pick up Battlefront2. I passed on the first one

Still trying to think of a good scary game to play next month. I think I've played everything available on Nintendo systems, so I'll probably be looking toward PS4 games.

 

Man PUBG seems so cool but I have a PS4 so who knows if/when I'll get it

 

PUBG is a game I love to watch but have zero interest in playing at all even though I'm sure it's a blast to play.

 

i really want to play the octopath demo but theres no still no internet at my place after irma so i have no way of downloading it, not optimistic about the internet being back when i get home tonight either.

 

I just hope we get another Zelda before the next console.
