I'm really excited! I actually never finished the game. Most of the time I would just take it to my grandparents and drive around for them because they grew up in LA and recognized everything. They would end up giving me directions. Probably the most meaningful time I've had playing a game.

 

do i have to pay for new arms characters? or are they free updates?

Dang that's incredible!
One time my grandparents were visiting for the holidays, and I was playing a WWII COD game. My Grandpa asked me turn it off, and you could tell he was getting very emotional. I felt horrible, I wasn't even thinking about it bringing up bad memories for him

 

oh nice, i dont own the game but that's another incentive towards picking it up sooner rather than later

 

is there gameplay of Golf Story floating around out there other than what's been shown? I'm just curious how it will all come together. regardless I'm really looking forward to it.

Visited a local videogame store today and it was the first time I ever saw a nintendo console being marketed that heavily.

The ads on the TV were for different Switch games, there was a demo unit, a big ass Mario Rabbid statue in front of the store (it was inside a mall), and a lot of the front row items were Switch peripherals. It looked pretty much like a Nintendo store that happened to sell Sony and Microsoft stuff.

i honestly never thought I'd see the day.

lol I didn’t quote myself like I thought I did. I was talking about the september 21 release date for Golf Story. I thought I saw that date after the nindie teaser but it’s not there now. where did that date from?

The Switch in its first six months sold double in Japan (ober 1.5 million) than what the PS4 did in its first six months there. The PS4 at that point had dropped to selling in the thousands, while the Switch is still selling in the tens of thousands (and selling out). The PS4 is doing very well in Japan it should be mentioned, meaning Nintendo is having one hell of a thing going on right now. Being a handheld also helps of course.
