...I haven't charged this thing in 2-3 years. What kind of battery was Nintendo working with here!?

 

My 2DS dies constantly lol I wanna upgrade to a 3DS

 

God, the Wild World memories. i regret posting my character over to the Wii version and bricking it like a year later.

 

Nothing beats firing up a round of Mario Kart DS and taking a spin around Delfino Plaza

 

I totally missed the 2DS/3DS run. Wish I had one for some Pokemanning. I'm making up for that now though.

My handheld collection:

 

I’ve got a gameboy color, gameboy advance sp, 2DS, switch lite, and steam deck for hand held right now. wish I knew where my old psp was.

 

got a dark grey SP that used to be my sister's (gave my old one to a friend when i got a DS). the DS in question was a red 1st Gen that came bundles with Mario Kart. paired with a 1st Gen Switch.

 

I have a DS, a PSP, and my Switch of course, all three of which I purchased from other people when I worked in Orlando in a call center for cable repair.

The first two I bought from the same guy, who also sold me a PS3 that ate discs and I unfortunately never got around to getting fixed. Was a really nice guy. Even threw in a case his wife knitted with the PSP.

The Switch was from another guy who decided he wasn't going appreciate it like I was and wanted to give it a good home, so he gave me a deal.

I miss that place. So many bargains.

 

My PSP stopped reading discs like a year or two after getting it at launch. Tried taking it apart to see if I could figure it out. Couldn't get it to turn back on when I put it back together. Sooo I sold it on eBay

 

Did you let the buyer know what was wrong with it?

 

Oh yeah. I've sold a bunch of broken electronics on there with the disclaimer that it's for parts or attempted repair. It's pretty great, I sold a Droid Incredible with a broken antenna and still got a couple hundred for it

 

I think I posted my system breakdown in one of these threads. You don’t even wanna know the amount of handhelds I have. GameBoy was the greatest invention in the history of mankind.

 

Been playing a lot of Heart Gold yesterday and today and damn, Whitney in Goldenrod SUCKS.

That fucking Miltank. Always drinking milk and restoring its HP. Which it can somehow always do when paralyzed. And even when it doesn't drink milk, Whitney gives it a fucking super potion! And then when you beat her, she's too busy crying to give you the badge! Lol

people rightfully clown on Bethesda for announcing elder scrolls 6 and then giving us nothing for 6 years, team cherry just as goofy for this

 

Maybe worse because Bethesda had Starfield in the works so they at least had an excuse

 

To be fair, isn't Team Cherry only 3 people?

 

if they haven’t expanded their team that’s just blatant mismanagement

 

which is a point I’ve made elsewhere: there’s either some personnel or financial mismanagement going on over there or both I don’t see any other reason for a complete lack of any updates at all not even just a “hey we’re cooking” at any point in the last few years, what was it like 2020 when they said the scope had increased? Maybe even earlier? And then it was Xbox who told us in summer 2022 it was in their “next year of gaming” so that’s not even a team cherry thing. I just don’t understand. I also don’t think I need to point out the difference between a Bethesda studios game and a 2D metroidvania. Large as it may be a 6 year development cycle for that type of game doesn’t add up.

 

It just shouldn't even come out at this point

 

I remember being frustrated at how long sports story was taking and then that game sucked

 

Did that game ever get fixed or anything? Like was it updated to a point where it was actually playing?
