I may have to fire up a new game.

 

There’s now an easy mode but I can’t speak to how much it affects the difficulty.

 

Dread was my favorite Metroid that I’ve played. Top 10 switch game imo

 

barely played any Metroid, but Dread has always looked insanely good, and we've been wanting to get into it for a bit

 

I am unreasonably excited to play as Zelda.

 

Would it be crazy to buy a freaking Switch Lite in the year 2024? I have the LBTW gold 3DS Xl and I’m thinking about getting this bundle. They would look nice sitting side by side on my nightstand.

 

Damn I might play Dread on rookie mode just to relive it again - didn’t know they added that. It’s a top 3 Metroid for me.

Fusion, Zero Mission, and Dread are GOAT’d.

 

the Switch has the single best catalogue of games of any modern console.

 

Okay, I started a Dread re-play and it really is clearly the most superior Metroid of the entire series.

 

Sure does, but the financially responsible part of me is saying there’s no need to buy another one so close to the end of the consoles life when I have a perfectly good TOTK OLED that’s barely a year old. LOL
But I am a sucker for Zelda special editions.

wonder why war of the gems wasn't added to the collection, but i'm beyond excited to no longer have to pay 4 figures for the 1up cab. fingers crossed for capcom vs snk to be next for the collection treatment, and possibly getting a download of tatsunoko vs capcom too.

 

Someone pointed out Mutant Apocalypse should have been included as well, and I agree, but maybe they weren't because they're console games and not arcade.

I have a feeling I already own the best Ninja Turtles brawler on the Switch, but I’ll keep an eye on that one

 

This one is more like a TMNT roguelike

 

TMNT Hades, basically. I played it on Apple Arcade for a bit. Cool game but just a blatant Hades rip off really.

Yeah, Metroid Dread had me quit after a frustrating boss. But I retried the game after the new easy mode and it went much better. I need to “get good”…but the game is great.
If you have never played a Metroid, Super Metroid is the best and it’s on the online service. But Metroid Fusion was my first Metroid game and made me love the series. It’s on the service too.
