Nintendo’s earnings as of June 30th were released.

Switch has reached 130 million units and TOTK has sold 18.5 million in a month and a half. Insane.

 

TOTK outsold the Wii U loool

 

They also sold more Switches than total WiiU games

 

you can’t build a mass murdering machine with a Wii U like you can with TOTK

 

The Wii U mass murdered itself

 

It's fascinating how every game that would be a reason to own a Wii U has been ported to the Switch in what basically amounts to a rescue operation.

 

…….Not Xenoblade Chronicles X or Wind Waker HD….. :(

This kid was in such a bad state that he was a make-a-wish kid and literally played Smash Bros with the president, but then made it through and now he’s spending time hanging out on Hustler Casino's Max Pain Monday poker stream. That last detail makes the story so much wilder to me.

 

Can’t comment on any of this since I’m severely out of the loop but … new cartridge format is certainly making me raise my eyebrows wrt back compat
