Yeah. It’s definitely a flawed game technically but it’s easily one of the most fun Pokémon games they’ve ever put out.

 

I've played it every day since I purchased it (although on busy work days I can only play it for about an hour) and I have yet to find myself bored. I'm constantly finding new things to do.

 

I’m slowly making my way through violet

As in I have only just arrived at the first major city after getting sidetracked and catching 31 Pokémon already, leveled up 4 of them, absolutely destroying trainers carrying one lvl 5 Pokémon with 6 of my own leveled up to 14-17

 

Thank you. I hadn't seen any talk about it in here. I think I'll buy it then. I enjoyed Shield and Arceus.

 

I've only played about 2 hours but it's way better than shield.

I finished the pokedex last week and have been thinking about starting a new game. Really enjoyed it.

 

Couldn’t get into Sword at all, but picked up Scarlet a little over a week ago. Might be my favorite Pokémon game since Black/White, I’m having so much fun

 

Just reached 200 on my Pokedex. Half way there!

 

I'm a little over 250 right now. Trying to finish the main story up so I can lose myself in shiny hunting.

 

I don’t even want to look at how close I am to finishing the Pokédex, I don’t think I’ve ever purposely tried to finish it before other than in the original swsh. It’s more fun taking my time, the shiny charm is so much more irrelevant in this game anyway.

 

I don't think I've ever completed a Pokedex in any Pokemon game but I might try with this one.

 

I had a living dex on Alpha Sapphire at one point. Like up until Sun/Moon came out. And I think I had most of those too until more event mythicals like Magearna, Marshadow & Zeraora were released

 

I've only done it in OG Red and Let's Go.

 

I completed the Pokédex in Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Shining Pearl. Those are the only two

 

Violet is fun enough, but I don't like the gym challenges or the team star battles. Why would I want to fight a car? Lol.

Also, I just got to the normal gym and I'm really struggling with it. From reading guides, this was the next gym for me to go to, but his last Pokemon keeps one shotting all of my Pokemon haha

 

Is... is it a car Pokémon? Or just a normal car? I have so many questions.

 

I don't even know! Lmao. I'm pretty sure it's just a normal car but... With a pokemon type and abilities?

 

Why are you fighting a car to begin with?

 

So, there are raids you can do against Team Star (this games version of Team Rocket), and the final battle has a car they've built at every single one you go to, just with a different type. It's very repetitive haha

 

Huh. Weird. Although it's interesting to have a boss that isn't a Pokémon.

 

But it is a Pokemon. Kind of.

 

Finally got my first shiny by just auto-killing Dratini and Golduck in that hidden North Providence area two pond thing.

 

Why only "kind of"?

 

On a side note, I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner, but I've connected my Switch to one of my two computer monitors, so now when I get the urge, I can just switch to HDMI2 and play Switch at my desk.

While still having one monitor free to keep browsing Chorus, as God intended.
