That's actually not abnormal for console Zeldas, it just feels that way because Nintendo usually has handheld Zeldas coming out in the interim, and they don't now because the console and handheld are one and the same.

But for example, six years is exactly how long it was between Skyward Sword (2011) and Breath Of The Wild (2017). Twilight Princess to Skyward was five years. Hell, Link To The Past to Ocarina Of Time was seven years.

I'm just sayin'.

EDIT: Clearly I'm not talking about development time necessarily.

It continues to make less than zero sense that they haven't announced ports of the WW and TP remasters for Switch.

 

I want a WW port because it runs like shit in Dolphin emulator. So much stuttering audio

 

I honestly don't mind the weapon durability feature. It's a little tough in the very beginning, but it becomes a non issue rather quickly. I didn't even expand my inventory until after I defeated Ganon because I was too lazy to find Hestu

 

I hope Nintendo has a surprise for this fall - on par with Metroid Dread of last year.

 

As of now, assuming Pokemon launches in November, it's looking like they still need a big game for October. We'll probably find out more about what's coming this fall around June.

Hasn't rumors that they're developing a new Donkey Kong platformer been going around for awhile? Maybe we'll get that. Also have read rumors about a remake of an older FE game and a new Detective Pikachu being in the works too.
