The need to put The Lion King on the Sega genesis

 

Bring over Donkey Kong 64 while you’re at it

 

This is probably not happening, mainly because the Lion King, Aladdin, and Jungle Book games are all being released as a collection on all consoles later this year.

 

Kinda sucks that we’ll have to pay more for N64 and Sega games.

Surprised we are getting the original Pokémon Snap instead of Pokémon Stadium as well. I’m a bent burnt out on Snap after playing the new one, as I imagine others are as well.

But, yay, Star Fox 64. It’s been a good 23 - 24 years since I last played it.

 

Shinobi 3 on switch has me so hyped. One of the greats

 

That could be true, but Super Mario 64 is in the 3D all stars pack and is still going to be in NSO so I’ll remain optimistic.

 

I was shocked Mario 64 was on the announcement for the N64 games

 

Kirby is interesting if it's not completely devoid of challenge. And very excited for the N64/Genesis additions - the whining elsewhere about the price increase feels like pretty sour grapes to me.

But damn these things are always a bit disappointing. I guess to be fair I'm not even totally sure what I'm hoping for at this point.

You guys say this, but remember that you can't buy 3D All Stars anymore.

I know you can’t “get” it anymore. But I was still surprised to see it in there since they just had it in the bundle not that long ago

 

I guess, but it would be weird if they didn't. I mean, it was the flagship title for the console.

 

I figured it would come eventually but not right away.

Can’t complain though. Will likely be what I play first when it comes to the N64 games.

 

You say that but where the heck is Glover then?!?

 

Trust me, if the N64 offerings go the same timeline as the NES and SNES offerings, then I'm sure Glover is not far away.

 

Glover > Mario 64.

Maybe I'm still traumatised by the Mario movie and TV show from the 90s but I can't see any way it's not going to be a hot mess and tbh you couldn't pay me to sit through it.

Kirby, Bayonetta, Triangle Strategy, Rune Factory 5 release date, N64, Disco Elysium port, Castlevania all hype. Next year looks absolutely stacked.
