DKCR and Tropical Freeze are better than any 2D Mario game since the SNES days

 

I think it’s because outside of the donkey Kong country series we had to use weird add ons to play the main games. Like that two piece drum bongo or whatever it was.

i went and bought DKC Tropical Freeze a few days ago and this game is v good and i also suck at it

 

anyone have any recommendations for a mindless game on Switch I could play while having some drinks and listening to podcasts (so games with minimal dialogue/story)

Already have Hollow Knight, Hades, Dead Cells, Risk of Rain 2...looking for games in that vein though.

(cheaper the better)

Yeah there’s definitely some strategy, but I love throwing on some music when playing it. Totally get in the groove.
