The game's trailer did seem incredibly ambitious at launch so I'm fine with it as well if it means we get all that cool stuff

 

Yeah it seems very ambitious, I didn’t see that coming at all, I figured they’d do more golf or maybe tennis, not everything

 

Seriously though, Mario Remasters confirmed.

Who here is familiar with Pikmin? Is Pikmin 3 Deluxe something to get into if I like to just play fun and comfortable games?

 

Pikmin 3 is an incredible game. Fun and full of charm, but it can get stressful sometimes.

 

Stressful as in rinse and repeat?

The Mario remasters are actually de-masters and will all be in 8-bit

 

Pikmin 3 is one of my favorite games of all time. Certainly the best game on the Wii U other than the Zelda remasters. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't experienced it. The DLC stuff that is included in the Deluxe is fun as well.

 

Pikmin 3 is the most accessible pikmin game, it's difficult to play through the game without pikmin dying but you shouldn't ever run out of pikmin as there are tons of ways to regenerate your fleet through pellets/harvesting enemies. It hurts to see pikmin die and enemy encounters can be challenging but the games certainly aren't difficult to beat, pikmin 1 and 3 kinda have an arcade like nature to them in that it's easy to replay them to see your day count/ total pikmin deaths decrease. There are multiple modes like bingo battle that also are fun to play with another person, and this version seems to have an easy mode so you can get that casual experience

 

Really hoping we get a Disco Elysium release date tomorrow

There’s gotta be no way BotW2 comes out this year. At one point I thought there was a chance of that happening but then COVID came along. I think it’ll either come around April-May 2021 or be the big holiday title next year.

 

The amount of disappointment i’m setting myself up for is monumental.
